The cultural association enogastronomica “Mastro Scappi” was born as a tribute to Master the Art of Cooking Bartolomeo Scappi, “The Michelangelo of the kitchen.”

The Association “MastroScappi” has as its purpose the dissemination and promotion, in Italy and abroad, of the culture, traditions, and food, the history, the image of the typical products in order to preserve the ancient traditions and flavors of the Italian cooking.

From this arises the initiative “Accademia Scappi“, with the specific intent to rediscover the origins of the ancient traditions of Italian regional cuisine and update them, in a search path, through the use of new techniques and nutritional knowledge, always having a particular attention to the products of Italian territories.
